Relationship with Valkyrie: My mother, Valkyrie, has always been my hero and my role model. Since birth, I’ve aspired to be like her and to follow in her path. To me, my mom always seemed so strong and so tough yet so gentle. In the blink of an eye, she could turn into a manipulative leader one second and then a loving, caretaker of young foals. I always admired how soft she spoke to the other foals. With me, she always would be too protective. I couldn’t go run in the mud because I would get hurt. Mom made me wash up completely if I got a couple drops of mud on me or if I was dusty. Sometimes being constantly managed got annoying but I know she does it out of love. As a child, I wanted to go run with the other foals but mom always wanted to make sure I was behaving and not getting into any trouble. Mom always made sure I behaved around the adults and engaged in conversations with them. I didn’t mind talking to the adults, in fact, I enjoyed it. But, as a foal, I wanted to get into trouble and I wanted to live and be rebellious. Well, not too rebellious because I hate making my mom mad. But, rebellious enough to get some adrenaline running. As I grew older, I started gaining my mom's tendencies with leadership and confidence. I was not a very confident foal but I forced myself to follow my mom's lead and example and push myself to exude confidence. But, the one thing I never wanted to be like my mom was manipulative. I just don't have it in me to be manipulative like her. I am as gentle as she is with the foals but I am gentle with everyone. I tend to be a little more soft-spoken than her as well. When I am at my lowest moments, I think "What would my mom say to do?" She has been my go-to for advice and help. I don't depend on her by any means but I always value her advice highly.

Discipline: Eir’s primary discipline is steeplechase racing due to her natural athleticism and abilities. Her endurance and strength make her a top competitor in this event. Her natural competitive nature and quick-learning traits are huge advantages in this event. Steeplechase racing offers Eir a challenge because every course is different and she has to be quick-minded and agile. She enjoys being challenged and thrives under pressure. Eir is quick to adjust and is well-prepared for adversity and difficulty. She enjoys being challenged and learning new things. Steeplechase is an event that requires her to learn new things before every race. She must memorize the course and have her pace perfected for her race to go smoothly. When she is not training or on the course, she enjoys lunge lines and a slow, restful trail ride to relax and detox from stress and internal pressures to perform. She has extremely high expectations for herself so we take her several times a week on trail rides to release her stress and make her more relaxed. By taking her on trail rides, we hope to convey to her that she is more valuable than just a racehorse and that she is very special and is considered as a friend to many. As for riders, she is always open to a new rider hopping on her back. She doesn’t mind a novice rider but prefers more advanced riders to challenge her and push her limits. We only allow 3 riders to race her and try to keep consistency in her routines and training so she has a sense of familiarity as to avoid confusion for her.

Story (Ragnarok-based): We stood at the fence in the darkness of night. For months this day had been foreshadowed and expected. The winter was longer than it normally was which caused the wolves to scour for food and victims in our territory and home. My mother, Valkyrie, father, Malice, sister, Sváfa, and brother, Vercingetorix stood by my side as we peered into the dark forest. We heard the growling and snarls of the wolves as yellow eyes started to appear out of the foggy mist. For months we had been warning the wolves to never trespass into the pasture. But in broad daylight of today, they attacked one of the younger fillies in the pasture. It was the last straw of the tension. Rushes of adrenaline ran through my veins as I stared into the luminescent yellow eyes of the wolves. One of the wolves lunged at Valkyrie and we all sprung into action. I felt a burning sensation on my shoulder as I struck a wolf with my hooves. We all let out our war cries and fought the large pack of menacing wolves. Blood, sweat, and anger flew through the air. I struck a wolf in the face with a powerful kick and he let out a cry and cowered away. Slowly, the daunting, never-ending pack of wolves shrunk as more and more cowered away into the shadowy mist of the dark forest. The largest wolf, and leader of the pack, stood in front of us with fire in his eyes as he smirked at us and leaped at my father. The leader clawed and struck my father as he gathered all of his strength to fight back. The rest of the wolves had retreated and so all of us helped father attack the leader wolf but he would not back down or tire out. Adrenaline and rage surged through all of us as we fought long and hard with the leader wolf. After a very physically draining fight, the leader wolf limped slowly back into the forest. We all checked the perimeter for any rogue wolves before we all headed to the river to rinse off our wounds before returning to the stables. The river seemed so much farther than usual due to my extreme fatigue. I was too tired to feel the stinging from my scratches as I plunged slowly into the icy cold water. We all walked slowly back to our stables. Once I laid down on the soft hay, I fell into a deep, long slumber. The next morning, I woke up to see new flowers and plants sprouting from the defrosting soil. Finally peace had been restored in our home.

Friends: Upon her arrival at Golden Hills stables, Eir was quickly greeted by Sugar and Fowler. Both are confident, gorgeous mares who stay close together so when they saw Eir, they instantly were drawn to her silent confidence and poise. Fowler and Sugar are more flirty mares as opposed to Eir who is awkward around stallions. The small group soon became a tight-knit clan of booty-kicking gals. Eir brings a sense of maturity to the group and leadership. Being a natural leader, Eir took the throne as their leader in an organic way that both Fowler and Sugar accepted. Eir does not view herself as higher than Fowler and Sugar but she does make the decisions for the posse with their consent and input. She is a democratic leader by the means of following the examples of the ancient Greeks and Romans where everyone’s opinions matter and everyone’s voice is heard and taken into consideration. She views leadership as a collective effort, not as a dictatorship. This makes her a popular friend and acquaintance at Golden Hills, but if you were to ask Eir herself, she would say that her best friends are Fowler and Sugar. They are the two she talks to about her secrets and deep topics.

Mate: As of right now, Eir does not have a crush or mate. She's a little more on the reserved and shy side when it comes to talking to stallions. Open to mate offers.
